Arena #91: Event Center at SJSU - San Jose St. vs. #21 St. Mary's (CA)

5th game in 5 days, this time stopping in San Jose to see the Spartans of San Jose St. take on the 21st ranked Gaels of St. Mary's in a rare non-conference road game for Randy Bennett's squad (if you can consider an hour drive south a road game...).  Love the Spanish architecture of the Event Center and it's overall design fit well into the surrounding campus, however, why do you have 25 stairs to get up into your main entrance to walk down to your seats again?  Was also interested to see this St. Mary's team in person as they're picked by most outlets to unseat Gonzaga as the West Coast Conference champions in 2017-18.  Their inside/outside game is definitely there, but will be interesting to see if they can avoid the bad loss in WCC play on a cold shooting night.  

Wasn't sure if I was in California or Arizona with the Spanish influences and palm trees!
